Introducing...
EubeG Oh!!!
If you realised, EubeG Oh, is a play on my nickname eubegoh. Due to the pre-selected last names that we need to choose from, Ren Hao ingeniously suggested I use the "Oh" for my last name, so that I could retain my "eubegoh". So there you are, EubeG Oh. :)
Trying to make Morris Island look interesting by taking a photo with Francessca Ronmark, Maria's avatar. Notice we look similar? Haven't exactly figured out how to change her face (other than make it bigger or smaller etc.). But notice that we edited their clothing :D
Well, EubeG Oh has little resemblance to me in real life, except perhaps for her name. I wanted to change her clothing and looks but they are pretty hard to moderate. I also had difficulty looking for the freebies, but this is the best I created thus far. I choose the pinkish red top because I like that colour. Other than that, I mostly just use her to explore. I do not really use Second Life to chat, partly because half the time I am trying to get out of wretched Morris Island.
My Favourite Place?
Presenting...
Nakama!
The island city of Nakama is such that the various neighbourhoods are each done in the style of a different genre of Japanese animation ("Second Life: Destinations, 2006).
EubeG Oh's bird's eye view of the island city. This is Tonari Ku. It's really quite cool flying around because you have the oriental buildings as well as the modern industrial ones.
Found a playground in Tonari Ku! Actually there were only these swings and a monkey bar thing. Nevertheless, had to try out the swing. She can swing 360 degrees! :D As for the monkey bar thing, she can only sit on top of it.
Here we have Kawaii Ku! It's really colourful and kiddy in here. There're rainbows, gigantic teapots and flowers :)
Interestingly, there's this area called Ayashii Ku. Really a stark contrast to the rest of the island. I don't know what the broken-ness and old, dusty quality of this area's supposed to mean, but it's really intriguing.
Last but not least, Hokenjidai Ku :) You can see Kawaii Ku from here. Truly, we see different genres of Japanese styles in this little island, Nakama.
Well, I chose Nakama as my favourite place because I found it beautiful. I did not choose the places with the most life, nor people, because they did not attract me. However, Nakama, though strangely deserted, looked pretty well-made and decent to me. Plus, I've been to Japan! So it sort of represents a part of me wanting to go back there again.
Nakama is definitely an interesting place to visit. So go check it out! :))

EubeG Oh!!!In case you're wondering, she's holding a "Thunder Beer" mug and doing the hula.
I'm really proud of my new avatar! Ever since I installed Second Life at home, I managed to teleport EubeG Oh out of the wretched, Morris island she is always stuck in when I use the programme in school. So Hooray! :)

Nakama! Here we have Koen Ku, the first place I teleport to when I search for Nakama. It's really really beautiful with the flowers and leaves around. Not sure if you can see it through the snapshot, but it's worth checking out in Second Life! :)

Your entry is great! Loved it!
I was looking for places to go to in Japan, but when I typed in "Japan" and went to those places, there wasn't much to see.
